Ontology-driven applications — or ODapps for short — based on adaptive ontologies are a topic we have been nibbling around and discussing for some time. Enterprise modelling and integration (EMI) techniques have been developed based on decomposition and configuration concepts, with modelling methods provided to analyse and engineer business processes (BPs). Model A model of a system is a description or specification of that system and its environment for some certain purpose. A model is often presented as a combination of drawings and text. This attention has caused a myriad of schools and practices to develop over time.
